Get strong again, without making the injury worse.
Personal training in Southeast Portland for adults coming back from an injury. We start with what your body can do today, then build strength on top of it, and we change the plan as you do.
“I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, and before starting here, I struggled with consistent injuries from other workouts and running. Paul helped me adjust my training approach to focus on injury prevention and proper body mechanics, and I’m proud to say I’m now able to do other sports injury free.”
We start where your body breaks down.
Before a single exercise gets written, we watch how you move. The bad knee, the shoulder that clicks, the back that went out two summers ago. Then we build the program around it, not against it. A new program every month, built on what the last month showed us.
What we are, and what we're not.
We’re a training studio, not a physical therapy or rehab clinic. If you need clinical rehab first, we’ll say so. Once you’re cleared to train, this is where you get strong again and stay that way.
Who this is for.
Adults who’ve trained before and now carry something that changed the plan. You don’t want to stop. You want a smarter plan that works with your body.
The program doesn’t know about your shoulder. Ours does.
One coach. A small group. Your own program.
A small group, everyone on their own plan. The same coach every session, watching how you move and adjusting on the spot. When something is angry, we see it and we change it.
What recovery looks like here.
Shoulder injuries, joint pain, an old problem guarded for years. One member was barely walking before sixty, and trains hard now.

Common questions.
Do you work with people coming back from an injury?
Yes. A lot of our members carry an old injury and want to get strong again without making it worse. We build the program around what your body can do right now, and we change it as that changes.
Are you a physical therapy or rehab clinic?
No. We're a training studio, not a physical therapy or rehab clinic. If you need clinical rehab first, we'll tell you, and we'd rather send you to the right person than push through something that needs a doctor.
What if my injury flares up mid-program?
We adjust. Your program is rewritten every month, and we change the day-to-day when something is angry. The point is to keep you training around the problem, not to stop every time it speaks up.
What kind of training is it?
Personal training in a small group. One coach, everyone on their own strength program. You are never running a class or guessing on your own.
How much does it cost?
Monthly, with no long contracts. Most members train two or three times a week, starting at $392 a month.
